BIOEXPLORER® The Myco Test kit amplified and detected the highly conserved region-specific fragments of the 16S rRNA gene of mycoplasma using Touch Down polymerase chain reaction (TD-PCR). This method has high sensitivity and specificity, and can be used to detect mycoplasma infection in various biological materials (such as cell culture medium, animal secretions, animal serum, etc.).The Mix contained in the mycoplasma detection kit can specifically amplify a variety of mycoplasma 16S rRNA gene fragments, which can achieve the purpose of detecting a variety of mycoplasma at one time.This kit was produced according to the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia for the detection of mycoplasma during the production of biopharmaceuticals (European Pharmacopoeia 7.0, 2.6.7.).Compared with the traditional selective medium culture detection method, this method is faster, more sensitive, more specific and more cost-effective.
