BIOEXPLORER® South American Fetal Bovine Serum (research grade) is of stable quality and suitable for the culture of a wide variety of cells, such as most animal organ cells, tumor and cancer cells, and some fusion cells. It can also be used for the preservation of cell lines and the culture of tissues and organs, the development of monoclonal antibodies, the culture of most tumor cells, 293, 293T cells and a few stem cells, such as adipose stem cells. Due to its own characteristics, the product has become the company's largest sales of products. This material is sourced from USDA certified ingredients and goes through the same filtration protocols and final quality control tests as our other grades. The FBS is filtered through a 100nm (0.1 mm) aperture graded filter. Prior to dispensing, each batch of serum is mixed using true pooling technology to ensure uniformity and consistency between vials.
